Are You Going to Have Enough to Retire?

Are you going to be financially prepared to retire when the time comes?  Will you have enough money, or sources of income to continue living the lifestyle you are accustomed?

According to Fidelity Investments, if you hope to live your retirement life the way you live now, for a 25-years, you will need to put aside eight times your ending salary.

If you don’t have that much socked away, you are not alone. More than one-third of people over the age of 55 have not saved even $10,000 towards retirement.

If you don’t have a load of cash put away for retirement, hopefully your retirement fund is in better shape.

It’s important to take a realistic look at your retirement wants and needs, and to determine just how much you are going to require in order to retire and live the lifestyle you hope for.

The younger you are, the better chance you have of preparing for retirement.  The problem with this is that most of us, when we were young, gave little thought to retirement.
