5 Ways to Make Everlasting Memories with your Child this Summer

With Summer winding down, now is the time to get in those last minute Summer memories with your kids.

Let’s take a look at 5 ways that you can make everlasting memories with your kids this Summer:

End of Summer Vacation.  Vacations are great ways to build memories for the whole family.  A vacation lets us get away from our normal routine and concentrate on one another, no matter where we are.

Make Homemade Ice Cream.  Your kids will be excited about actually making real ice cream themselves.  But what if you don’t have an ice cream machine?  Well, do not fear, it is possible to make homemade ice cream without a machine… and in just 5 minutes! Check out Spoonful.com to see how, including a great recipe!

Camping Trip.  Some of my kids’ fondest memories are of the whole family camping.  Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the fancy camping gear… most State Parks offer “Camping Cabins” that you can rent just like a hotel room.  You get the comfort of sleeping on a real bed, away from the bugs, but are still able to enjoy being out in nature.  …not to mention sitting around a camp fire!

Stay Up Late.  You don’t have to go to exotic places to build everlasting memories with your kids, you can do it right at home!  Have a stay up late night.  Lay outside under the stars, catch fireflies, setup a tent in the backyard or just stay up late watching a movie marathon.

Summer Scrap Book.  Get together with your kids and create a fund Summer scrapbook full of picture taken throughout the summer.
