Have you ever wanted to be an astronaut? Well, chances are that is never going to happen… or is it?

A company called Golden Spike is officially offering moon rides.  You just have to have $750 Million! If you split it with a friend, otherwise you’re going to have to cough up the $1.5 billion on your own.  That’s right, billion with a “B”.  But you do get to make a moonwalk!

While you won’t really be an astronaut like the NASA astronauts, I suppose if you paid $1.5 billion for a trip to the moon you could call yourself anything you want.

If you have the spare cash laying around and are ready to sign up, you’re going to have to wait a bit.  Golden Spike isn’t flying to the moon just yet.  The company sees 2020 as a probable date for their initial trip.

So if you are set on going to the moon, find a buddy (that way it will only cost you $750 million), hold on to you cash and hope that Golden Spike gets things going.

How awesome would it be to be added to the list of only 12 humans that have set foot on the moon!
